Business Development Associate

Role & responsibilities

• Generate leads through calls, online platforms, referrals and other channels.
• Make outbound calls to prospective students and customers to understand their requirements.
• Explain Sloka Academys programs, training offerings and career-oriented opportunities to

prospective students.

• Follow up with leads consistently and nurture them through the decision-making process.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students and customers.
• Research target audiences and identify new lead-generation opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, follow-ups and conversions in the CRM.
• Track daily activity, lead status, conversion rates and your sales pipeline.
• Coordinate with the internal team to ensure a smooth enrollment and student experience.
• Achieve assigned targets for lead generation, follow-ups and enrollments.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree, completed or pursuing (Management, Business, Marketing or

Commerce preferred).

• Strong spoken and written English; [Telugu / Hindi] is a plus.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with new people every day.
• Good follow-up, persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Basic understanding of sales and business development concepts.
• Self-motivated, proactive and target-oriented.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
