Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Associate role based in Bengaluru. The Business Development Associate (Fresher/US/WFO) will focus on identifying and nurturing prospective customers in the US market, conducting outreach to parents and guardians, and explaining BrightCHAMPS offerings in a clear and engaging manner. Day-to-day responsibilities include lead generation through multiple channels, market research to understand customer needs and trends, and delivering effective presentations and product demos. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of interactions in CRM tools, coordinating with internal teams to refine sales strategies, and meeting defined targets and performance metrics. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills, eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced edtech environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Presentation Skills and the ability to create and deliver compelling Presentations to diverse audiences.
• Candidates should possess skills in Lead Generation, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and nurturing potential customers.
• Candidates should possess Market Research capabilities to analyze customer segments, competition, and trends in the US education market.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.
• Relevant bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong interpersonal skills, confidence in speaking with international customers, and the ability to build long-term relationships.
• Comfort with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis to track performance and optimize outreach strategies.
• Ability to work from the Bengaluru office, adapt to rotational or extended US time-zone shifts as needed, and collaborate in a team-based environment.
• Demonstrated interest in edtech, global markets, or child-focused learning solutions is an added advantage
