Business Development and Sales Manager

SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - SHIPPING & FREIGHT FORWARDING / NVOCC

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for developing new business, acquiring customers, and generating revenue through ocean freight and NVOCC services while maintaining strong customer relationships.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in ocean freight, NVOCC / International freight forwarding.
• Generate leads, acquire new customers, and develop a strong client base.
• Promote FCL and other relevant shipping services to potential customers in the Noida / Gurugram market.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and follow up on business opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Coordinate with Pricing, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify business opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant experience in Sales within Ocean Freight NVOCC/ Freight Forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of FCL shipping and ocean freight services.
• Experience in client acquisition, lead generation, rate negotiation, and business development.
• Established customer connections and a strong local market network in the Noida / Gurugram region will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
