Role Description The Business Coach role at myG is a full-time, on-site position based in Kozhikode. The Business Coach will support store leadership and teams in improving sales performance, operational efficiency, and customer experience through structured coaching and mentoring. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group coaching sessions, reviewing business metrics, and helping teams develop action plans for revenue growth and process improvements. The role involves collaborating with management to refine business plans, identifying skill gaps, and designing training interventions that align with company goals. The Business Coach will also provide consulting support on store strategies, monitor implementation of recommendations, and report progress to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Business Coaching and Coaching skills to guide store teams and individual contributors toward performance and behavioral goals.
• Candidates should possess Business Planning and Consulting skills to analyze store performance, develop practical plans, and advise management on strategic initiatives.
• Candidates should possess Training skills to design and deliver effective learning sessions focused on sales, customer service, and operational excellence.
• Candidates should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Candidates should have proven experience in retail or related customer-facing industries; prior experience in coaching or consulting roles is highly desirable.
• Candidates should hold a relevant bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field; professional certifications in coaching, training, or retail management are an advantage.
• Candidates should be comfortable working on-site in a dynamic environment, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in basic business tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations).

Responsibilities:

Deliver Induction Training to new joiners on company policies, sales basics, soft skills, product categories

Conduct On-the-Job Training (OJT) at showrooms, focusing on customer handling, sales conversion, upselling

Execute Refresher Trainings to reinforce sales techniques and service standards

Conduct In-store refresh activities (role-plays, skill boosters, floor exercises)

Evaluate trainees performance post-training and report improvements or gaps

Conduct Promotion Tests and mentor employees for internal career growth

Identify skill gaps and propose individual development plans

Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and customer experience standards are followed uniformly

Submit visit reports, feedback, and improvement plans
