About this position:

At Xoriant, we are looking for a skilled D365 Business Central Developer to support the development, customization, and integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft Dynamics NAV solutions. In this role, you will develop and enhance business applications using AL and C/AL, work with reporting tools and APIs, integrate systems using modern web services, and leverage Azure cloud technologies to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements, resolve technical challenges, and ensure successful project delivery.

Impact you will realize: Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central applications using AL and Microsoft Dynamics NAV solutions using C/AL.
• Develop, customize, and maintain reports using RDLC, Classic Reports, SSRS, and data ports.
• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and web services to enable seamless integration with internal and external systems.
• Implement integrations using OData, SOAP, and REST services.
• Work with Azure Cloud Services, Power Automate, Azure DevOps, and Docker to support application development, automation, and deployment.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server queries and work with data structures to ensure efficient data processing and application performance.
• Use Visual Studio Code, GitHub, and version control practices to manage source code and support collaborative development.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, recommend technical solutions, and deliver business-aligned applications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective resolutions.
• Follow development best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes to ensure maintainable and reliable solutions.
• Support cloud deployment and containerized application environments where required.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across application development, integration, performance, and deployment processes.

Key skills you will require:

Primary Skills

• D365 Business Central: Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central development using AL.
• Microsoft Dynamics NAV: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV development using C/AL.
• Reporting Tools: Experience with RDLC, Classic Reports, SSRS, and data ports.
• API and Web Services: Proficiency in API development, Web Services, OData, SOAP, and REST integrations.
• Azure and Automation: Knowledge of Azure Cloud Services, Power Automate, Azure DevOps, and Docker.
• SQL Server: Strong command of SQL Server, data structures, query development, and database operations.
• Development Tools: Experience using Visual Studio Code, GitHub, and version control practices.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, including experience working directly with clients.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ownership and Delivery: Strong ownership mindset with a commitment to quality, accountability, and timely project delivery.

Secondary Skills

• Microsoft Certification: Microsoft certifications, such as MB-820: Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer Associate, are an advantage.
• Third-Party Integrations: Exposure to integration tools such as KingswaySoft and SharePoint connectors.
• Cloud Deployment: Knowledge of cloud deployment practices and containerized environments.
• Continuous Learning: Self-motivated, with a willingness to expand technical and business knowledge and stay updated with Microsoft Dynamics and Azure developments.

Qualification you must require:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
