Business Analytics & Project Management

Lead the Business Analytics and Project Management function for Real Bites by building reliable dashboards, improving MIS discipline, tracking cross-functional projects and converting business data into actionable decisions. The role requires a hands-on manager who can manage people, data, automation and senior-management reporting in an FMCG/manufacturing/retail environment.

Preferred Candidate Profile A practical, hands-on analytics and project management professional who can independently manage the function, bring structure to reporting, drive cross-functional coordination and help leadership make faster, data-backed business decisions

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Business Analytics and Project Management team for MIS, dashboarding, reporting automation and project tracking.
• Design and maintain dashboards for Sales, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Production, Purchase, HR and management reviews.
• Analyze business performance, identify trends, gaps, risks and opportunities, and present clear insights to leadership.
• Track business projects through timelines, owners, deliverables, dependencies, escalations and closure status.
• Work with cross-functional teams to collect, validate, clean and structure data for accurate decision-making.
• Develop automated reports using Advanced Excel, Power BI/Tableau, MS Access, Python, SQL and other analytics tools.
• Support AI, Big Data and digital transformation initiatives to improve reporting speed, data quality and process efficiency.
• Create review decks, action trackers, project dashboards and management reports with strong follow-up discipline.

Required Qualifications & Certifications

• Education: MBA/PGDM mandatory/preferred in Project Management, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems or related discipline.
• Certifications: MS Office/Advanced Excel, Power BI/Tableau, AI tools, Big Data Analytics, Python, SQL/MS Access and Project Management/PMP/Agile/Scrum preferred.
• Experience: 8-12 years total experience, including relevant experience in Business Analytics, MIS, BI, Data Analytics or Project Management; similar role exposure within the last 5 years is required.
• Industry: Prior experience must be from FMCG, Manufacturing or Retail. Team handling experience is required.

Technical Skills Advanced Excel, MS Office, PowerPoint, MS Access, Power BI/Tableau, Python, SQL, database management, AI productivity tools, Big Data concepts, ERP/CRM/business reporting systems and project tracking tools.

Key Competencies: Business & Analytical Thinking: Connects data with real business issues, interprets trends, performs root-cause analysis and recommends practical actions for growth, cost control and process improvement.

Project Governance: Plans, monitors and drives multiple projects through clear ownership, milestones, risk flags, escalation notes and closure discipline.

Data Accuracy & Automation: Ensures reliable data capture, cleaning, reconciliation and reporting; actively reduces manual work through dashboards, automation and standard formats.

Stakeholder Management: Works confidently with Sales, Production, Supply Chain, Finance, HR and senior management; communicates insights in simple, decision-ready language.

People Leadership: Guides and reviews team output, builds reporting capability, sets priorities and maintains accountability for timelines, quality and confidentiality.

Digital Mindset: Understands how AI, Big Data, Python and BI tools can improve analytics maturity and create scalable business reporting solutions.

• Timely, accurate and business-ready MIS reports, dashboards and review packs.
