The company relies on strong cross-functional collaboration between business, product, risk, and technology teams to continuously improve processes and products across the lending lifecycle.
Role Overview The Business Analyst will bridge business needs and data-driven solutions, gathering requirements, analysing processes, and working with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and decision-making across lending operations. The role combines process analysis, data analysis, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities · Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders across credit, operations, product, and technology teams. · Analyse existing business processes across the loan lifecycle and identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement. · Use SQL (MySQL / PostgreSQL / BigQuery) to extract and analyse data supporting business cases and process reviews. · Prepare business requirement documents (BRDs), process flows, and impact assessments for new initiatives. · Work with technology and product teams to translate business requirements into actionable specifications. · Track the implementation of process and system changes, and measure impact against defined success metrics. · Build reports and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations clearly to leadership.
Eligibility / Qualification · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field. · Certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP) or SQL / BI tools are an added advantage.
Experience Required · 2 – 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, process improvement, or related roles within BFSI / lending. · Industry Preference: NBFC / Fintech / Banking / Financial Services.
Required Skills · Strong requirement-gathering and documentation skills (BRDs, process flows, user stories). · Proficiency in SQL for data-driven analysis and validation of business cases. · Working knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for reporting. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to process analysis. · Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills. · Clear written and verbal communication for presenting findings to leadership.
