Business Analyst

We are hiring a Business Analyst with strong expertise in

financial statement analysis and spreading to support global investment operations. The role involves analyzing financials across sectors and accurately spreading them into financial systems, along with stakeholder collaboration and mentoring responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret financial statements (BS, IS, Cash Flow, notes).
• Perform financial spreading using sector-specific templates/tools.
• Conduct peer reviews and ensure data accuracy and quality.
• Work with stakeholders (Investment Officers, COE) for clarifications.
• Create and maintain company financial data in systems (iPortal/iDesk).
• Identify errors, perform root-cause analysis, and improve processes.
• Mentor junior analysts and share best practices.
• Provide status updates on volume, quality, and timelines.
• Support global teams with rotational shift coverage.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in financial analysis & financial spreading.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, ratios, and accounting concepts.
• Familiarity with IFRS, India GAAP (US GAAP is a plus).
• Experience with financial spreading tools (Moody’s, Credit Lens, etc.).
• Ability to identify audit red flags and financial risks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Education Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Additional certification in IFRS.
• Proficiency in French, Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic, and/or Chinese.
