About the Role We're looking for an experienced

Business Analyst who enjoys solving complex operational problems through structured thinking, data, and collaboration. You'll work directly with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Success to convert business challenges into clear product requirements, improve internal processes, and help shape the evolution of the AirBills platform. This is a high-ownership role where your analysis directly influences product decisions and customer outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Partner with stakeholders to discover business problems and translate them into well-defined functional requirements.
• Create detailed PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow diagrams, and process documentation.
• Analyze operational and product data to identify bottlenecks, trends, and opportunities for automation.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering to prioritize features based on customer impact and business value.
• Design and optimize business processes across billing, payments, onboarding, reporting, and customer operations.
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, UAT, and release validation.
• Define success metrics and measure product improvements using data.
• Drive alignment across cross-functional teams while ensuring requirements remain clear throughout execution. -

What We're Looking For

• 3–6 years of Business Analysis experience in a SaaS, fintech, proptech, marketplace, or operations-focused product company.
• Strong experience writing business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex workflows.
• Comfortable working with SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, dashboards, and data visualization tools.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and product development lifecycle.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to independently own projects in a fast-moving remote environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Economics, or a related discipline.

Bonus Points

• Experience working with workflow automation or operational platforms.
• Exposure to billing, payments, finance, utilities, or property technology.
• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and data mapping.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar collaboration tools.
