Business Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, analyze workflows, and deliver data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, workflows, and user stories
• Evaluate existing business processes and recommend improvements
• Conduct data analysis, market research, and performance evaluations
• Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and process documentation
• Collaborate with product, technology, operations, and leadership teams to implement solutions
• Monitor KPIs and business metrics to measure project and process effectiveness
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), implementation, and change management activities
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and project discussions
• Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for optimization

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, IT, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools
• Experience with requirement gathering and process documentation
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, or PMI-PBA
• Experience with collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, Trello, Asana)
• Knowledge of business intelligence and data analysis concepts
• Experience in industries such as fintech, SaaS, healthcare, e-commerce, or IT services
• Experience working with distributed or global teams
