About Us We are Quickcode.com.au -building an AI-powered Construction Management Platform designed to help builders streamline construction lifecycle. We're looking for an innovative Business Analyst who is passionate about technology, AI, and building products that solve real business problems.
About the Role As our Business Analyst, you'll work closely with the founders, developers and future customers to define product requirements and help shape the future of construction technology. You'll bridge the gap between builders and the development team by translating business processes into intuitive software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse business requirements from builders and industry stakeholders.
- Map construction workflows and convert them into digital processes.
- Create user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, wireframes, and functional specifications.
- Work closely with the development team using Agile and Scrum methodologies as a scrum master.
- Prioritise and manage the product backlog.
- Follow UI/UX principles and create mock ups and prototypes.
- Research AI technologies and identify opportunities to automate construction workflows.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, user acceptance testing, and product demonstrations.
- Continuously improve the platform based on customer feedback.
** Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Business Analysis, Agile, Scrum, Product Management, or software development methodologies
- 3–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- 1 year experience as a Scrum Master
- Proficiency with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
- Experience working in a software development or product-based environment.
- Familiarity with UX/UI concepts, APIs, or basic technical workflows.
- Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, or reporting tools is a plus.
Skills
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience writing user stories and functional requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar.
- Ability to identify opportunities to apply AI to business processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent understanding of UI/UX design principles and able to create mockups/prototypes.
- Experience working with SaaS products.
- Experience with process mapping tools such as Miro, Visio, or Lucidchart.
