We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused and data driven Business Analyst with strong business fundamentals to join our Strategy team. The Business Analyst will play a critical role in driving customer retention and revenue growth by managing the renewal process for existing subscribers. Job Description :
- Performance Analysis and Reporting : Track, analyze, amend, and report on key metrics related to customer retention, engagement, and revenue, and use insights to form strategic decisions and continuous improvement. Deep dive into data and present actionable insights
- Query writing and Logical reasoning : Strong logical reasoning is required to gather the right data for hypothesis testing. Substantial database querying using SQL in order to acquire data necessary for analytical needs
- Financial Modelling : Understand business fundamentals and trends to draw revenue, churn and business health projections
- Predictive Analytics : Utilize data analytics and business understanding to segment customers, predict trends and avert risks
- Loyalty Management : Ideate and manage customer loyalty program from 0 to 1
- Retention Management : Develop initiatives and strategies aimed at reducing churn, increasing revenue, and increasing customer lifetime value. Review and amend retention rate % assumptions in the forecasts and run scenarios based on impact from additional contributing factors on churn
- Customer Segmentation and Targeting : Utilize data analytics to segment customers based on behavior, preferences, and lifecycle stage, and suggest process improvement
- Stakeholder Management : Collaborate closely with external and internal stakeholders (marketing, product, operations, and customer service teams) to align CRM initiatives with broader business objectives and ensure seamless execution
- Customer Feedback and Insights : Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify pain points, opportunities for improvement, and trends, and advocate for customer-centric initiatives. Leverages data from all aspects of the organization impacting churn (including NPS, customer satisfaction score and customer experience), etc.
Experience :
- 1+ years experience in a high impact analytical role delivering significant business results that utilize strategic and creative thinking, problem solving, and taking individual initiative preferably in the retail/e-commerce industry
- 1+ years experience in synthesizing complex information and generate meaningful insights based on analysis of customers’ data and information from primary and secondary research
- Understanding of customer retention; views the world through cohorts and can demonstrate knowledge of LTV curves and the value of LTV
- MBA with relevant experience (good to have)
- Experience of working on large data sets
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment under tight deadline
- Solid business and financial acumen with exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
