Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, define, assist in implementing, and continuously improve demand planning solutions by translating business requirements into new system capabilities, integrations, data models, and process improvements to enable accurate forecasting and inventory planning for a leading global apparel brand.
• Functional specification documents and product requirement documents based on available solution architecture.
• Functional owner of system integration for data quality and solution efficiency. Validate integrations involving S/4HANA, S/4 ERP data, POS systems, allocation platforms, and business data interfaces.
• Validate data transformations and planning logic calculations delivered through data integrations.
• Provide working knowledge and solution advisory to the QA and support teams for continuous improvement.
• Work as a liaison with business consultants, technical architects, data science consultants, SMEs, and IT leads working together.
• Gather business requirements from demand planners, supply planners, merchandise planning teams, and business stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Lead end-to-end functional initiatives from requirements gathering and solution design to development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Produce Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), process flows, and data mapping documents.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of focused experience and domain expertise working with demand planning business processes and planning systems.
• Proven experience working with business units involving demand planners, allocation analysts, and supply chain analysts in agile-paced teams.
• Proven and keen expertise in creating functional specification documents and product requirements Documents based on analysis of systems and integrations, with a good understanding of solution engineering.
• Analysts with an understanding of SAP ERP modules of Sales Distribution, FICO, or working SAP ERP consultants and understanding are good to have.
• Analysts with a perspective of applying AI-driven thinking in the role for data analysis and the creation of artifacts are value additions to the role.
• More experience as a BA, especially around handling complex logic requirements, data validations, and working more closely with multiple source technical teams to define the high-level logic needed.
