Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities :

• Understand user requirements and prepare BRD/FRSM documents in collaboration with users and partners. Validate system feasibility and propose appropriate solutions.
• Ensure timely requirement closure with users and align the same understanding with the vendors technical team.
• Drive comprehensive understanding of product features, change requests, and defect fixes for Developers to minimize future bugs.
• Participate in daily standups to track progress and provide clarity on requirementrelated challenges.
• Regularly gather feedback from business users to assess system adoption and identify operational issues.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement solutions as per the SDLC process.
• Support Sales and other functions in achieving topline targets and reducing bottomline costs by delivering products, change requests, and reports efficiently across all applications.
• Ensure closure of projects linked to strategic initiatives and streamline SDLC processes and SOPs.
• Conduct weekly review meetings with Developers to track progress and resolve roadblocks.
• Track defects raised by the QA team, assess their validity, and ensure closure of genuine requirementrelated defects.
• Provide enduser walkthroughs for newly implemented system changes.
• Evaluate risks and make informed decisions on new initiatives or situational responses.
• Suggest optimal solutions and workarounds to improve efficiency and enhance business experience.
• Communicate deployed changes to users and monitor them for the next 15 days postproduction release.
• Analyze and close postproduction issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance by closing audits and resolving observations within defined timelines.

Domain Knowledge

• Indepth understanding of insurance products, processes, and claims.

Qualification Requirements

• Graduate or Postgraduate
• MBA in Insurance
• LIII (Licentiate in Insurance)
