Business Analyst

Business Analyst:

This role is for a VERY STRONG technical business analyst.

Soft Skills:

• The ideal candidate has previous developer background and can understand highly technical concepts as it relates to data transport technologies
• The ideal candidate possesses a keen sense of urgency and escalates to their management to ensure projects they are assigned are not blocked
• The ideal candidate can produce bullet proof documentation
• The ideal candidate understands big picture and can conceptualize projects beyond their scope of support (Understands outside teams technology and processes)
• The ideal candidate owns and drives their assigned tasks to completion
• The ideal candidate is an extreme self-starter who will actively seek the knowledge they need rather than wait

Required Skills & Experience

• Understanding and experience working with and testing API calls for real time data requests
• Understanding and experience working with SFTP file structures for non-time sensitive data requests
• Understanding and experience working with and documenting KAFKA feed requirements
• Understanding and experience working with relational databases, reading, and understanding complex SQL queries, writing simple to complex SQL queries

Highly Preferred Experience:

Experience in cable industries and/or MSO
