About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Business Analyst with 2+ years of experience who can turn data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
This is not a pure MIS/reporting role. The candidate will work across Sales, E-commerce, Inventory, Procurement, Pricing, Marketing, Operations and Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse daily, weekly and monthly business performance
- Track sales, GMV, ASP, AOV, returns, growth and key KPIs
- Analyse performance by channel, category, product and SKU
- Monitor inventory, stock cover, ageing, sell-through and stock-outs
- Support demand forecasting and procurement planning
- Recommend pricing actions based on demand, inventory, margins and competition
- Analyse SKU and channel-level profitability
- Track marketplace and digital marketing performance including ROAS, CAC, CTR, CPC and conversion
- Analyse returns, RTO, delivery performance and operational issues
- Build dashboards, automate reports and identify trends, anomalies and opportunities
- Convert analysis into clear recommendations for management
Mandatory Skills
Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, Business Analytics, Data Interpretation, Inventory & Sales Analytics, Pricing & Profitability Analysis
Preferred Skills
Python, Power Query, DAX, APIs, Forecasting, Data Automation and E-commerce Analytics
Experience with Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Shopify or similar platforms is preferred.
Candidates from D2C, E-commerce, Retail, Consumer Electronics, FMCG, Consumer Products or Quick Commerce will be preferred.
The ideal candidate should answer not only what happened, but also why it happened, the business impact and what should be done next.
