Business Analyst

We are looking for a highly analytical and execution-focused Business Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems using data, thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, and can work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes. The ideal candidate is a hustler with exceptional analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, strong communication abilities, and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, business insights, and improvement opportunities.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and MIS to support leadership decision-making.
• Use advanced Excel to perform data analysis, financial modelling, forecasting, and process tracking.
• Work with Operations, Product, Finance, and Business teams to understand problems and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Track key business metrics and identify gaps in performance.
• Simplify complex business problems into actionable recommendations.
• Drive process improvements and automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and structured manner.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query, Lookup functions, dashboards, data analysis).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High ownership, bias for action, and a "get things done" attitude.
• Ability to work under ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent business acumen.
• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA from a premier institute (preferably IITs or other Tier-1 B-Schools), or Bachelor's degree from a Tier-1 engineering college (IIT, BITS Pilani, NIT, IIIT, or equivalent).
• 1-4 years of experience in Business Analytics, Strategy, Consulting, Operations, or similar analytical roles.
• Experience working in a high-growth startup, consulting firm, e-commerce, fintech, or technology company is preferred.
