About the Role
We are looking for a Business Analyst who can understand client requirements, analyse business processes, and work closely with technology teams to deliver practical software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering
- Conduct client meetings and requirement-gathering sessions to understand business needs and workflows.
Documentation
- Prepare BRDs, SRS and work closely with developers and QA teams to clarify requirements and ensure accurate implementation.
Agile Delivery
- Participate in Agile activities, including sprint planning, requirement discussions, UAT, client demonstrations, and release planning.
Client Coordination
- Coordinate with clients throughout the development lifecycle, gather feedback, and manage change requests.
Testing Support
- Support functional testing and UAT by validating that delivered features meet business requirements.
Project Tracking
- Track project requirements, dependencies, issues, and delivery timelines.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment, documentation, and project handover.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong requirement-gathering and business analysis skills.
Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodology.
Experience creating BRDs, SRS, user stories, process flows.
Strong client communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to understand software applications and work effectively with technical teams.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Good to Have
- Basic understanding of databases, APIs, and software development concepts is preferred.
- Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Figma, Microsoft Excel, or similar tools is an advantage.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- MBA with specialisation in Finance and Marketing.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 1 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Software Delivery, Product Analysis, or a similar role.
- Experience working on software/web/mobile application projects is preferred.
- Experience interacting directly with clients and coordinating with development teams is an advantage.
