Business Analyst

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented

Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to analyze processes, gather and document functional requirements, design data-driven workflows, and help deliver software solutions that align with core organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate discovery sessions with business stakeholders to capture, analyze, and translate business needs into detailed technical requirements.
• Author clear functional specifications, user stories, process flow diagrams, wireframes, and acceptance criteria.
• Map and document "as-is" operational processes and design "to-be" workflows to eliminate redundancies and improve efficiency.
• Partner with engineering, QA, and UI/UX teams throughout the SDLC to clarify scope, answer functional queries, and validate deliverables.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to evaluate operational metrics, validate business hypotheses, and support strategic decision-making.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles by writing test scenarios, coordinating testing with business users, and managing defect resolution.
• Prepare end-user training materials, user guides, and technical documentation to ensure smooth feature adoption.
• Monitor project milestones, manage change requests, and present status updates to cross-functional leads and management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a similar consultative role within IT/software environments.
• Hands-on proficiency with process modeling tools (e.g., Lucidchart, MS Visio, Draw.io) and wireframing software (Figma, Balsamiq).
• Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks and project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• solid analytical skills with the ability to write SQL queries and analyze datasets using MS Excel or basic BI tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to facilitate meetings and present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
