Business Analyst

We are looking for a curious and motivated Business Analyst to join our growing team. At Gnani.ai, youll help build consumer-facing (B2C) mobile apps that bring AI-powered experiences directly to everyday users.The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in business research, new product development, market analysis, and emerging technologies. This role offers hands-on exposure to identifying business opportunities, researching new products, understanding customer needs, and working with cross-functional teams to turn ideas into actionable product initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct market and competitor research to identify new product opportunities and emerging trends- Research customer needs, pain points, use cases, and industry developments- Support the team in evaluating new product ideas, business opportunities, and potential use cases- Assist in preparing BRDs, PRDs, user stories, process flows, presentations, and research reports- Analyse existing products and solutions to identify gaps, opportunities, and areas for improvement- Work closely with product, engineering, AI/ML, and business teams during product discovery and development- Track developments in Generative AI, Voice AI, Agentic AI, and emerging technologies and explore potential business applications- Support data collection, analysis, documentation, and preparation of insights for business and product decisions.

Required Skills Qualifications

- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field- 2+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Management, Consulting, Market Research, or a similar role- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert research into actionable insights- Experience with market research, competitor analysis, customer research, and product discovery- Strong interest in product development, business analysis, market research, and technology- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret information and identify insights- Basic understanding of market research, competitor analysis, and product development- Ability to create clear BRDs, PRDs, user stories, process flows, and presentations- Good proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Ability to create clear and structured reports, presentations, and documentation- Strong curiosity about AI, technology, and emerging business models- Ability to learn quickly, take ownership, and work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
