Business Analyst – Banking Experience :

Maximum 1 Month Role Overview We are looking for an experienced

Business Analyst with strong banking domain expertise, particularly in

Lending and Payments modules . The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, coordinating with technology and business teams, and supporting the delivery of banking applications and solutions. Hands-on experience in

both Lending and Payments within the banking domain is mandatory . Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, validate, and document business requirements from business stakeholders.
• Work closely with business users, product owners, technology teams, and other stakeholders to understand business needs.
• Prepare

BRDs, FRDs, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria .

• Analyse and document requirements related to

Lending and Payments processes and applications.

• Understand end-to-end lending processes including

loan origination, credit assessment, loan processing, disbursement, repayment, interest, fees, restructuring, and closure .

• Understand payment processes including

payment initiation, validation, processing, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling .

• Analyse existing banking processes and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements for development and technology teams.
• Work with developers, testers, architects, and product teams throughout the SDLC.
• Support functional testing, UAT, defect analysis, and requirement validation.
• Review test scenarios and ensure adequate coverage of business requirements.
• Participate in requirement walkthroughs, solution discussions, sprint ceremonies, and stakeholder meetings.
• Analyse production issues and support root-cause analysis from a business/functional perspective.
• Prepare process maps, workflows, data flows, and other business analysis artefacts.
• Identify dependencies, risks, gaps, and impacts associated with new requirements or system changes.
• Ensure requirements are aligned with banking processes, internal policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure timely delivery of requirements and project milestones. Mandatory Skills & Experience
• 8–10 years of overall Business Analyst experience , preferably within Banking/Financial Services.
• Strong and hands-on experience in

Lending and Payments modules – mandatory .

• Good understanding of end-to-end

banking business processes .

• Experience in requirement gathering, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Strong experience preparing

BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria .

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Experience working closely with development, QA, product, and business teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to understand complex banking systems and translate business requirements into functional specifications. Preferred Skills
• Experience with

Core Banking, Lending platforms, Payment systems, Digital Banking, or Banking Transformation projects .

• Knowledge of payment interfaces, transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, and payment exceptions.
• Exposure to APIs, integrations, and system-to-system interfaces.
• Knowledge of SQL and data analysis would be an advantage.
• Experience working on large-scale banking transformation or implementation projects. Key Competencies
