Strategy & New Business team responsible for identifying and evaluating the next major businesses that the Group will build. This is

not a conventional Business Analyst role. You will work directly with the Founder on high-impact strategic initiatives, evaluating industries, business models, investment opportunities, and emerging sectors that could become the next growth engines for AKD Group. Key Responsibilities Industry & Market Research

• Identify emerging industries with long-term growth potential.
• Conduct detailed market sizing (TAM, SAM & SOM).
• Analyse industry trends, demand drivers, and future opportunities.
• Study domestic and international markets.

Business Intelligence

• Research competitors, suppliers, customers, and value chains.
• Benchmark leading Indian and global companies.
• Prepare strategic intelligence reports for leadership.
• Track government policies and sector developments.

AI-Driven Research

• Leverage AI tools to accelerate research and analysis.
• Convert large reports into actionable insights.
• Compare business models and market opportunities.
• Build efficient AI-assisted research workflows.

Primary Research & Field Work

• Visit factories, industrial clusters, ports, SEZs, trade exhibitions, and supplier facilities.
• Interact with entrepreneurs, consultants, suppliers, and industry experts.
• Conduct field visits to gather first-hand market intelligence.
• Travel across India as required.

Financial & Commercial Analysis

• Build business cases and preliminary financial models.
• Evaluate market potential, CAPEX, OPEX, profitability, and ROI.
• Assess risks and recommend market entry strategies.

Strategy Support

• Prepare investment memos and strategic presentations.
• Support acquisition, partnership, joint venture, and greenfield evaluations.
• Assist the Founder in strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• MBA is preferred but not mandatory.
• Candidates from IIMs, IITs, or globally equivalent premier institutions will be given preference. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and overall fit. Desired Candidate Profile
