Business Analyst, RBS ARTS (Automation Reporting and Tech Sciences)

Description We are looking for a customer-obsessed innovator, comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and an ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. They will have excellent oral and written communication skills, a focus to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize work. A Business Analyst will own the production and delivery of a suite of reports, dashboards and tools used by leaders to take decisions that impact customer of selling partner experience. Key job responsibilities

• Create, support and continuously improve reports and metrics that support the business operations
• Convert data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information using tools like Quicksight/Tableau
• Shape and deliver key metrics, reports, and indicators by which our business will assess its performance
• Dive deep into large data sets to answer specific business questions using Excel, SQL and other data manipulation languages
• Work directly with business teams to utilize metrics and analysis to determine improvement opportunities A Business Analyst will use the following tools -
• SQL (Oracle and Redshift)
• Excel Advanced VBA
• Tableau/Quicksight
• Report scheduling tools (internal)

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• Experience with SQL or ETL

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Tableau
