About this role
Business Analyst / QA Tester:
with Multi-Project Coordination & Applied AI Fluency | GoldSecure / Cash Your Gold
Role Summary:
Own requirements elicitation, documentation, and test validation across multiple concurrent GoldSecure / Cash
Your Gold projects (ERP rollout, systems integrations, policy and process changes). You are the person who
catches gaps between what was asked for and what got built, before it hits production — and who keeps each
project's timeline and documentation visible without needing to be chased for updates.
Scope of Responsibility
This is a multi-project role: 3+ concurrent workstreams, each with its own stakeholders and timeline — not one
project at a time.
Core Responsibilities:
●Initiate each assigned project properly: draft a project charter, identify stakeholders, and run a kickoff so
everyone (including you) understands why the project exists and what it's meant to achieve
●Run requirements elicitation sessions with stakeholders (interviews, workshops, document review) and
translate them into clear, unambiguous requirements documentation
●Write and maintain user stories / use cases with defined acceptance criteria
●Design and execute test plans and test cases (functional, UAT, regression) against documented
requirements
●Log, prioritize, and drive defects to resolution with engineering/vendors
●Maintain a requirements traceability matrix so every feature ties back to a documented need
●Own the timeline for each assigned project: build it, maintain it, flag slippage early — not after a deadline
has already been missed
●Maintain a single source of truth for documentation (requirements, test results, status) per project that any stakeholder can open and understand without explanation
●Send a regular, plain-language status update per project (weekly or per milestone): what's done, what's
blocked, what's next
Must-Have Experience:
●3+ years as a Business Analyst or QA Analyst on software / systems / ERP projects
●Can independently stand up a project from scratch: charter, stakeholder identification, kickoff — without
being told how
●Demonstrated requirements elicitation and documentation work product (writing samples required:
anonymized BRDs, user stories, test plans)
●UAT test case design and execution — not just informal exploratory testing
●Comfortable working directly with non-technical stakeholders (retail, finance, compliance staff), not only
developers
●Currently running, or has run, 3+ concurrent projects with separate stakeholders and timelines, without a
dedicated PM sitting above them
●A track record of owning decisions, not just executing instructions — can point to a specific call they made independently and stand behind, including one that didn't go perfectly
●Practical AI fluency: uses AI tools to build repeatable pieces of their own workflow — e.g. a standing
prompt/template that converts stakeholder notes into structured requirements, AI-assisted test case
generation from a spec, or automated status-doc drafting. Not uses AI instead of Google to look things up.
Not expected to code or build agents.
Nice-to-Have:
●Exposure to ERP implementations (WinGold, Xero, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
●Retail, financial services, or compliance-adjacent industry background
●Basic SQL for data validation
Explicitly Not This Role:
●Program management — portfolio-level budget ownership, resourcing across teams, executive governance
●People management
●Strategy-setting — this role executes and validates against requirements that have already been approved
