    About this role

Business Analyst / Program Manager Growth

    eDiagnostics -Tata 1mg

    Location: Gurgaon (Tata 1mg HQ)

    Function: eDiagnostics Growth

Reporting to: Growth & Strategy Lead, eDiagnostics

    Experience:02 years

Education:Undergraduate degree (any discipline); strong quantitative coursework or project work preferred

    About Tata 1mg Labs (eDiagnostics)

Tata 1mg Labs is the diagnostics vertical of Tata 1mg, one of the top players in India's eDiagnostics market. Since launching in FY16, the business has scaled from a marketplace model to include its own NABL/CAP-accredited labs and is now the top eDiagnostics player in the country in terms of size. The business is currently focused onscaling profitably: growing order volumes across large and small cities, improving unit economics, and building repeatable, data-backed growth infrastructure across acquisition, retention, and new product lines (e.g., at-homevaccination, retained sample add-ons).

    About the role
This role sits within the core growth team for eDiagnostics and is the analytical and execution engine behind the
vertical's growth agenda. You will work directly with the P&L owner and cross-functional teams (Ops, Product, Marketing, Data/BI, Category) to
identify, test, and scale growth opportunities. The role is deliberately broad: youwill move fluidly between data analysis, hypothesis formulation, stakeholder communication, and hands-on
    execution.

    What you will do
Formulate growth hypotheses across the funnel acquisition, conversion, retention, and upsell/cross-sell grounded in business context, not just data patterns.

Test these hypotheses through internal data analysis (SQL, Excel, dashboards), using rigorous, MECEframeworks and clearly flagged assumptions.
Translate analysis into clear, actionable inferences and recommendations for the business team, tailored tothe audience (execution teams vs. leadership).
Own select recommendations end-to-end working with cross-functional teams (Ops, Tech, Product,Marketing) to take pilots and fixes live.
Package other recommendations into well-scoped business cases and hand them off to the relevant teams aslonger-term projects, with clear success metrics and owners.
Track city-level and channel-level performance (orders, AOV, CAC, attach rate, conversion) againsttargets, and proactively flag deviations with root-cause hypotheses.
Maintain and improve the analytical infrastructure the team runs on trackers, dashboards, and reusablemodels rather than one-off analyses.

    What we are looking for
0–2 years of experience working on data-driven business problems, ideally alongside business/growthteams (internships count).
Strong SQL skills — comfortable writing and optimizing queries independently against large datasets; notreliant on pre-built dashboards.
Advanced Excel skills — can build and audit multi-tab models, not just use formulas someone else wrote.

Sharp business acumen — can reason about unit economics (CAC, LTV, AOV, contribution margin) andconnect a number to a business decision.

High ownership — comfortable being accountable for outcomes, not just outputs, including work thatdepends on other teams to ship.
Structured communication — can present a MECE argument crisply, in writing and verbally, to bothexecution teams and leadership.
Comfort with ambiguity — this role does not come with a fixed playbook; you will need to define theproblem as often as you solve it.

    Good to have
Exposure to Python (pandas) for data analysis beyond what SQL/Excel can efficiently do.

Prior experience in a consumer internet, healthcare, or diagnostics/pharmacy business.

Familiarity with tools like Tableau or similar BI platforms.A note on the role
This is not a pure analytics or reporting role — the expectation is that you drive recommendations to outcomes, working through other teams where needed. It is also not a role with a fixed scope of work; priorities will shift as the business's growth levers evolve across cities, channels, and products.
