Business Analyst / Product Owner

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst who has also worked as a Product Owner to join our Digital Lending Financial Products team. This is a functional role responsible for requirement gathering, process design, product strategy support, and cross-functional delivery across Retail and Corporate/SME Lending domains.
The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis capability, deep lending domain knowledge, and hands-on experience managing product backlogs in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
A) Business Analysis Requirements Management
Lead requirement gathering through workshops, interviews, and stakeholder sessions.
Prepare BRDs, FSDs, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and detailed process flows.
Translate business needs into clear, testable functional requirements.
Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and workflow mapping across lending
systems.
Work closely with compliance, credit, operations, and risk teams for requirement validation.
B) Product Ownership
Own and manage the product backlog for Retail Lending, SME Lending, and
Corporate Lending modules.
Prioritize user stories and features based on business value, dependencies, and timelines.
Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams for sprint planning and execution.
Participate in daily Agile ceremonies, sprint demos, and retrospectives.
Monitor product performance and ensure timely delivery of releases.
C) Lending Domain Expertise
Provide functional expertise across:
o Retail Lending: Personal Loans, Auto Loans, Home Loans, Credit Lines, Consumer Finance.
o Corporate SME Lending: Working Capital, Term Loans, Revolving Facilities, Trade Finance, POS Financing.
Support formulation of new lending products, digital workflows, and lending automation strategies.
Understand credit policy, onboarding processes, underwriting, disbursement flows, and collections lifecycle.
D) Process Design Optimization
Document As-Is processes and design To-Be workflows for end-to-end
lending operations.
Identify manual bottlenecks and propose improvements to enhance efficiency
and STP (Straight Through Processing).
Work with technology teams to ensure seamless integration between LOS,
LMS, CBS, and other subsystems.
E) Stakeholder Management
Act as the central liaison between Business Teams, Technology, Credit,
Operations, and Leadership.
Conduct requirement walkthroughs, design reviews, and system
demonstrations.
Manage stakeholder expectations, dependencies, and change requests.
F) Testing, Validation Release Support
Prepare test cases and validate functionality during SIT and UAT cycles.
Support business users during UAT and issue triaging.
Validate production deployments and ensure release readiness.
Prepare documentation such as SOPs, release notes, and training guides
