Business Analyst Data Analyst Insurance Domain
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst Data Analyst with good understanding of insurance domain processes data analysis data mapping and stakeholder engagement The ideal candidate will work closely with Business SMEs Product Owners Architects and Development teams to gather requirements analyze business processes profile and model data and translate business needs into scalable technology solutions
The role requires a good understanding of data flows APIs system integrations in NRT batch and near realtime cloud data platforms Salesforce product ecosystem and Agile delivery practices
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
Elicit analyze document and validate business requirements through workshops stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions
Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents BRD Functional Requirement Documents FRD user stories process flows and acceptance criteria
Facilitate requirement walkthroughs with architects developers QA teams and business users
Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications
Support Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming sprint planning reviews and retrospectives
Data Analysis Data Management
Develop sourcetotarget mappings and transformation rules for data migration and system modernization initiatives
Help create logical and physical data models supporting new business needs
Perform impact analysis on upstream and downstream systems for data changes
Validate reconcile data across environments
Solution Design Delivery
Collaborate with solution architects and development teams to design effective business and data solutions
Analyze APIs integrations data interfaces and system interactions to define integration requirements
Prepare test scenarios and acceptance criteria based on business rules and data requirements
Support SIT UAT production validation and defect triage activities
Participate in release planning deployment validation and postimplementation support
Required Skills Experience
Business Analysis
Strong experience in requirement gathering stakeholder management and solution definition
Expertise in AgileScrum methodologies and SDLC processes
Experience creating BRD FRD User Stories Process Flows Use Cases and Acceptance Criteria
Strong communication and facilitation skills with both business and technical teams
5 years of Business Analysis experience
Data Analysis
Strong SQL skills using Snowflake or similar databases
Experience in data profiling data mapping data lineage and data quality analysis
Knowledge on Document processing systems in generating agreements for Agency lifecycle management
Experience developing sourcetotarget mappings and transformation logic
Knowledge of ETL processes and cloudbased data solutions
Technical Skills
SQL Oracle SQL Server DB2 Snowflake
Salesforce Clouds SFMC Data360 Salesforce Financial Cloud FSC CRMA
Knowledge on API Analysis REST JSON Potman
Jira Confluence Rally AI tools
Visio Excel PowerPoint
AWS and Cloud Data Platforms
Insurance Domain Experience
Strong experience of Agency Lifecycle Management processes preferred
Mainframe modernization and legacy system migration experience is a strong advantage

Ability to work independently in ambiguous business areas and drive solutions through collaboration
