JOB DESCRIPTION

We have various roles in Cognizant Consulting Insurance (P&C) ranging from Business Analyst, Consultants, Senior Consultants and Product Owner. Depending upon your experience and expertise, we will triage them accordingly for best fitment.

Consulting & Business Analysis Skills

• Ability to gather, analyze and document business and system requirements.
  o Experience in creating requirements artifacts like BRD, FSD, use cases and user stories.
  o Experience in leading or complementing team in domain consulting assignments.
  o Extensive experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  o Ability to collaborate with business users to assess the complexity and elicit effort estimation.
  o Demonstrated Business Analysis skills working on Insurance domain projects.
  o Strong experience in stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, requirements traceability, and solution validation.
  o Experience in business process analysis, process optimization, and consulting engagements.
  o Design thinking and ability to work in fast-paced and ambiguous situations.
  o Strong Communication & Presentation Skills with a flair for writing documents and the ability to present to various audiences.

Insurance Domain Knowledge

• Strong experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.
  o Mandatory experience in UK/London Market Insurance.
  o Good understanding of Commercial Lines, Specialty Insurance, Underwriting, Policy Administration, Claims Management, and Broking processes.
  o Experience working across Personal, Commercial, or Specialty Insurance lines.
  o Knowledge of insurance lifecycle including quotations, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, claims, and settlements.
  o Experience working with Insurance organizations (P&C or Life) and business stakeholders.
  o Exposure to digital initiatives undertaken by insurers in improving customer experience, customer insights, channel performance, defining digital KPIs, and transforming insurance operations.
  o Familiarity with London Market ecosystem, Lloyds market processes, and insurance transformation initiatives is desirable.
  o Demonstration of Thought Leadership in a particular area of the insurance domain.
  o Ability to contribute and lead creation of domain-led consulting offerings.

Qualification

• Masters in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Preferable tertiary qualification in IT and Insurance.
  • Insurance industry certification such as ACII, CPCU, AINS, The Institutes, CII, etc. will be an added advantage.
  • Exposure to InsurTech, Data Science, and Digital Insurance platforms preferred.
  • Knowledge of UK Insurance regulations and London Market practices will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 9 to 13 years of working experience in Insurance Domain along with IT experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Property & Casualty Insurance.
  • Mandatory exposure to UK/London Market Insurance projects and business processes.
  • Experience in business analysis, digital transformation, consulting, or process improvement initiatives.
