Business Analyst (Life Insurance/Life & Annuity)

We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join our development team. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to analyze business needs, define requirements, and deliver high-quality technology solutions for mission-critical insurance products. You will play a key role in improving business processes, supporting project delivery, and ensuring solutions align with business objectives. The ideal candidate has experience in Life Insurance implementations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively bridge business and technology.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories.
• Analyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend effective solutions.
• Perform data analysis to support business decisions and project planning.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including BRDs, process flows, use cases, and user guides.
• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate that solutions meet business requirements.
• Support change management activities, including stakeholder communication, user training, and adoption of new processes.
• Identify project risks, provide mitigation recommendations, and contribute to successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 3+ years of Business Analysis experience, preferably in Life Insurance implementations.
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, requirements gathering, and process improvement.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, SQL, Excel, and process mapping tools such as Visio or BPMN; knowledge of Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration.
