About the role

Most projects do not fail because of bad code. They fail because nobody asked the right questions at the start. As a Business Analyst Intern at Crossing Infotech, you will sit between clients, developers and managers, making sure everyone is solving the same problem. You will learn how a business need becomes a clear plan that a team can build.

This is a hands-on, full-time remote internship for people who like asking why, organising messy information and explaining things simply.

What you will do

- Gather and document business requirements from team discussions and client inputs

- Write clear user stories, requirement documents and process notes

- Map current workflows and point out delays, gaps and repeated work

- Analyse data in Excel to support recommendations

- Prepare reports, summaries and short presentations for the team

- Track project tasks and follow up on progress with technical teams

- Help test finished features against the agreed requirements

- Share updates in daily check-ins and weekly review sessions

What we are looking for

- Clear written and spoken English

- Good Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, charts)

- Logical thinking and a habit of breaking big problems into small steps

- Basic familiarity with flowcharts or tools such as Draw.io, Lucidchart or Miro is a plus

- Knowledge of SQL or Jira is a plus, not a must

- Interest in how businesses and software products work

- A stable laptop and reliable internet connection for full-time remote work
