Business Analyst (CPQ Specialist)

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce CPQ Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements related to Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote). The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis skills, deep understanding of quote-to-cash processes, and hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ.

Key Responsibilities :

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

* Conduct workshops and discovery sessions with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Product teams.

* Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.

* Translate business requirements into Salesforce CPQ solutions and configuration requirements.

* Perform gap analysis and recommend best-practice solutions.

Salesforce CPQ Solution Design

* Define and document product catalogs, bundles, pricing models, discounting rules, approvals, and quote generation processes.

* Collaborate with Solution Architects and Developers to design scalable CPQ solutions.

* Support configuration of:

* Product Rules

* Price Rules

* Approval Rules

* Discount Schedules

* Quote Templates

* Guided Selling

* Contracting and Renewals

* Amendments and Asset Management

Stakeholder Management

* Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams.

* Facilitate requirement reviews, solution walkthroughs, and UAT sessions.

* Provide regular project status updates and risk assessments.

Testing & Deployment

* Create test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.

* Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

* Validate CPQ configurations against business requirements.

* Assist with release planning and deployment activities.

Process Improvement

* Analyze existing Quote-to-Cash processes and identify optimization opportunities.

* Recommend automation and process improvements leveraging Salesforce CPQ capabilities.

* Drive adoption of CPQ best practices across the organization.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

* 4+ years of Business Analysis experience.

* 2+ years of Salesforce CPQ implementation experience.

* Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash (QTC) business processes.

* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

* Salesforce Certified Administrator.

* Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification.

* Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant Certification.

* Experience with Billing, Revenue Cloud, or ERP integrations.

* Knowledge of subscription-based business models and renewals.
