Bus Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle-level integration of body, chassis, powertrain, electrical, HVAC, interior and exterior systems.
• Develop and review vehicle packaging and system layouts.
• Define and verify interfaces between major vehicle systems.
• Conduct clearance, interference, accessibility and serviceability checks.
• Perform DMU reviews and identify packaging conflicts.
• Coordinate with body, chassis, electrical, interior, exterior and supplier engineering teams.
• Support prototype builds, design reviews, testing and issue resolution.
• Maintain integration layouts, interface documentation and engineering change records.

Skills

• Strong understanding of complete bus vehicle architecture and system integration.
• Good knowledge of body, chassis, powertrain, electrical, HVAC, interior and exterior systems.
• Experience in vehicle packaging and DMU analysis.
• Understanding of system interfaces, clearances, tolerances and serviceability.
• Ability to identify and resolve cross-functional integration issues.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
