Job Summary
The Building Maintenance Person is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation
maintenance, and safety of the building and its facilities. The role involves coordinating
prevenve and correc¢ve maintenance, supervising vendors, monitoring building systems, and
ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Conduct rou¢ne inspec¢ons of the building, equipment, and common areas.
Coordinate preven¢ve and correc¢ve maintenance for electrical, plumbing, re safety,
elevators, carpentry and civil works.

Monitor the performance of building systems and arrange repairs as required.
Supervise housekeeping, security, landscaping, and maintenance contractors.
Maintain records of maintenance schedules, service reports, and equipment history.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situa¢ons.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory regula¢ons.
Monitor u¢lity consump¢on (electricity, water, diesel, etc.) and recommend cost-saving
measures.

Coordinate annual maintenance contracts (AMCs) and vendor management.
Assist in preparing maintenance budgets and controlling expenses.
Ensure adequate inventory of maintenance tools, spare parts, and consumables.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports for management.

Qualica¢ons

Diploma / Bachelor's degree / Correspondence Course, in Mechanical, Electrical ,
Plumbing & Carpentry.

Minimum 5 years of experience in building maintenance ac¢vi¢es.
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, re safety, pumps, and building management
systems.

Familiarity with preven¢ve maintenance planning and vendor coordina¢on.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Oce, Excel, maintenance management so¢ware).
