About this role
Our long-term strategy is to move suitable custom developments away from the S/4HANA core and build them on SAP BTP wherever appropriate. In addition, we plan to develop reusable applications that can be leveraged across the organization.There is also significant opportunity to expand our use of SAP BTP services such as Joule, Work Zone, AI capabilities, and other platform services. These are areas where a dedicated SAP BTP developer can help build proof of concepts and production-ready solutions while accelerating our BTP adoption roadmap. I believe a developer with around 68 years of experience would be well suited for this role.
What will the day-to-day work look like?
- Develop BTP applications using CAPM and Node.js
- Develop reusable business applications
- Configure and Support Identity Management for Authentication
- Work with Joule, Work Zone, and other BTP services
- Support PoCs and innovation initiative
Skills Required: SAP BTP Application Developer
- Strong experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- SAP Build Work Zone
- SAP Joule Work(Mobile Start) / Joule Capabilities
- SAP Build Process Automation (BPA)
- SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
- Node.js and/or Java CAP development
- SAP Mobile Start & Joule
- HANA Cloud & BAS
- Authentication (IAS, IPS, XSUAA)
- SAP Destination and Connectivity services
Responsibilities
- Design and implement SAP BTP solutions aligned with SAP best practices
- Develop and maintain Work Zone solutions and digital workplace experiences
- Support SAP Joule Work(Mobile Start) implementation and enhancements
- Build automation workflows using SAP Build Process Automation
- Develop CAP-based applications and services
- Evaluate and implement new SAP BTP innovations including Joule capabilities
- Collaborate with business teams to identify automation opportunities
- Integrate BTP applications with S/4HANA and other enterprise systems
- Work with implementation partners to ensure scalable BTP architecture
- Prototype and evaluate new SAP AI and BTP capabilities
