Role Description The Branch Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, responsible for driving branch-level business growth for home loan products. This role involves managing and motivating the sales team, setting and monitoring sales targets, and ensuring that branch operations support a seamless customer experience. The Branch Sales Manager will develop local marketing and outreach strategies, build relationships with customers, channel partners, and local stakeholders, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. Daily activities include reviewing sales pipelines, tracking performance metrics, resolving customer issues, and coordinating with central teams for approvals, training, and process improvements. The role requires a strong focus on achieving business goals while maintaining high standards of service quality and ethical conduct.

Qualifications

• Proven branch or field sales experience in financial services, housing finance, banking, or related sectors, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong team leadership capabilities, including experience in supervising, coaching, and developing sales staff in a branch or regional setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Sound understanding of home loan products, credit assessment basics, and regulatory guidelines relevant to housing finance in India.
• Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office, and basic digital platforms for reporting, analytics, and sales tracking.
• Customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and the ability to handle escalations effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Local market knowledge of Surat and surrounding areas, and willingness to conduct regular field visits and on-ground business development.
