Role Description The Branch Sales Manager – Prime LAP will lead and manage the Loan Against Property (LAP) sales function for the branch, focusing on Prime segment customers. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. Day-to-day responsibilities include driving branch sales targets, developing and implementing local sales strategies, and managing a team of sales officers to ensure high-quality customer acquisition. The role involves sourcing and evaluating LAP leads, maintaining strong relationships with channel partners, builders, and intermediaries, and ensuring adherence to credit, risk, and compliance guidelines. The Branch Sales Manager will monitor portfolio health, track market trends, prepare regular performance reports, and collaborate closely with credit, operations, and collections teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and business development capabilities, including experience in retail lending, Loan Against Property, or related secured products.
• Proven team management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop sales staff to achieve branch targets.
• Solid understanding of credit assessment, risk management, and compliance processes within financial services.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, channel partners, and local market stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• Analytical and reporting skills to track sales performance, portfolio quality, and market opportunities.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Prior experience in branch-level sales management in NBFCs or banks, preferably in LAP, home equity, or mortgage products.
• Comfort with on-site branch operations, local market travel, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
