Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Branch Manager to lead branch operations, drive business growth, and ensure superior customer service. The incumbent will be responsible for achieving business targets, managing branch profitability, maintaining regulatory compliance, and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Sales

• Drive branch sales across CASA, Deposits, Retail Assets, and Third-Party Products.
• Achieve branch revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
• Develop and implement local business acquisition strategies.
• Enhance customer acquisition, retention, and portfolio growth.

Branch Operations

• Ensure smooth and efficient branch operations.
• Monitor daily operational activities and service standards.
• Maintain branch productivity and operational excellence.
• Oversee cash management and security processes.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build strong relationships with key customers and local businesses.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and timely resolution of complaints.
• Promote cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and motivate branch employees.
• Set performance goals and monitor achievement.
• Conduct regular training and capability-building initiatives.
• Foster a culture of accountability and customer-centricity.

Risk, Audit & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines and internal policies.
• Monitor operational risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Manage branch audits, compliance checks, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain high standards of governance and control.

Credit & Portfolio Management

• Evaluate credit proposals within delegated authority.
• Monitor asset quality and portfolio performance.
• Support recovery and collection efforts when required.

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
• 5-10+ years of banking experience with exposure to branch banking.
• Proven experience in team management and business development.
• Strong understanding of retail banking products and branch operations.
