Branch Manager

Role & responsibilities

Ensure exceptional customer service, proactive sales environment and efficient branch operations, while adhering to regulations/compliance requirements

Overseeing branch operations and its overall functionality.

Focus on retaining existing customers, increasing the customer base and cross selling products and services.

Oversee branch operations, cash management and service quality.

Monitor daily performance of branch staff.Supervising critical areas such as new business development (both retail and institutional), sales channel expansion, team development, and revenue generation.

Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and sales

Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities

Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans.

Meet goals and metrics.

Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately

Bring out the best of branchs personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation

Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.

Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.

Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws.

Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company.

Team sales target.

Maintain the EMI Collection.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate/Postgraduate with 4 to 8 years of experience in Banking, NBFC, Housing Finance, or Microfinance sectors.

Proven experience in branch operations, sales, business development, and team management.

Strong track record in achieving business targets, customer acquisition, and portfolio growth.

Experience in EMI collections, compliance, cash management, and customer service.

Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.

Ability to drive branch profitability, team performance, and operational excellence.
