Branch Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure exceptional customer service, proactive sales environment and efficient branch operations, while adhering to regulations/compliance requirements
• Overseeing branch operations and its overall functionality.
• Focus on retaining existing customers, increasing the customer base and cross selling products and services.
• Oversee branch operations, cash management and service quality.
• Monitor daily performance of branch staff.
• Supervising critical areas such as new business development (both retail and institutional), sales channel expansion, team development, and revenue generation.
• Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and sales
• Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
• Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans.
• Meet goals and metrics.
• Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately
• Bring out the best of branchs personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation
• Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
• Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
• Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws.
• Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company.
• Team sales target.
• Maintain the EMI Collection.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate/Postgraduate with 4 to 8 years of experience in Banking, NBFC, Housing Finance, or Microfinance sectors.
• Proven experience in branch operations, sales, business development, and team management.
• Strong track record in achieving business targets, customer acquisition, and portfolio growth.
• Experience in EMI collections, compliance, cash management, and customer service.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to drive branch profitability, team performance, and operational excellence.
