Branch Manager- Tour & Travel

Role & responsibilities

• Drive sales of domestic and international tour packages to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase tour bookings, customer acquisition, and market penetration.
• Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and promotional activities to strengthen business relationships and increase sales conversions.
• Oversee daily travel operations, bookings, reservations, and documentation.
• Ensure efficient service delivery and implement process improvements.
• Manage end-to-end visa processing and ensure compliance with embassy requirements.
• Coordinate with embassies, consulates, and visa service providers.
• Manage tour itineraries, hotel bookings, transportation, and travel logistics.
• Develop and maintain relationships with airlines, hotels, and travel partners.
• Lead, mentor, and manage operations, visa, and tour teams.
• Monitor team performance and conduct training programs.
• Manage key client relationships and resolve escalated customer issues.
• Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and service excellence.
• Ensure compliance with travel regulations and company policies.
• Prepare MIS reports, operational reports, and performance reviews.
• Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

• 15-20 years of progressive experience in the Travel & Tourism industry.
• Proven experience in tour sales, business development, revenue generation, and achieving sales targets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
• Strong expertise in corporate travel, leisure travel, MICE, and group tour operations.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, suppliers, and senior management.
• Sound knowledge of international visa regulations, travel documentation, and destination management.
• Strategic thinking with a focus on business growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships, vendor partnerships, and operational performance.
