Branch Manager - Sales (Coimbatore)

Role & responsibilities

• Own branch sales targets for volume, revenue and market share and track achievement against plan
• Manage and grow the distributor and dealer network, ensuring strong coverage, healthy stock levels, and timely payment collection
• Identify and appoint new distributors, dealers, and retail partners to expand reach in untapped markets
• Lead, coach, and review the field sales team, including sales executives and promoters
• Execute trade schemes, promotions, and in-store visibility programs, especially during festive seasons
• Monitor secondary sales, inventory, and competitor activity to adjust local strategy
• Ensure order fulfilment, claim settlement, and distributor ROI through close coordination with supply chain and finance
• Prepare branch MIS, sales forecasts, and review presentations for management

Preferred candidate profile

• MBA/PG Diploma (any specialization) highly preferred
• Proven field sales experience in consumer durables, home appliances, electronics, or FMCG
• Hands-on experience in distribution management, dealer handling and channel development
• Strong people management, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and sales reporting
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory
• Local language highly preferred
