Job Description: Branch Manager Africa Operations (Lubumbashi)

Mandatory Prerequisites: Full fluency in French and proven prior experience working within Africa

Role Summary

The Branch Manager will hold complete operational and financial accountability for the Goma branch. This role requires a hands-on leader to drive business expansion, manage cross-functional teams, oversee supply chain operations, and ensure full compliance with regional financial standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Management & P&L Accountability

• Maintain full P&L oversight for the Lubumbashi branch to drive profitability and revenue growth.
• Develop strategic financial plans, operational budgets, and risk management protocols for regional activities.
• Oversee financial reporting, regular audit procedures, and maintain compliance with regional and cross-border tax regulations.

2. Operations & Multi-Disciplinary Team Leadership

• Provide executive direction across local sales, logistics, and administrative functions.
• Supervise logistics workflows and goods distribution within the regional supply chain network.
• Mentor and lead regional accounting and operational staff to achieve target KPIs.

3. Business Development & Client Relations

• Identify strategic growth opportunities to expand local market share.
• Build and sustain high-level relationships with key commercial clients, regulatory stakeholders, and local partners.

Candidate Profile & Competencies

• Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in French (verbal and written) is mandatory for day-to-day operations and stakeholder management.
• Regional Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years of professional management experience, with explicit prior operational exposure within Africa.
• Core Skills: Commercial acumen, P&L management, cross-functional leadership (sales, administration, supply chain), and regulatory risk compliance.
