Branch Head Chennai (SI Business)

We are looking for a seasoned and results-driven Branch Head to lead and scale our System Integration (SI) business across Chennai. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, managing key client relationships, and ensuring successful delivery of large and complex SI projects.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, deep industry networks, and a proven track record in enterprise solution selling and P&L management. He/ She should have working knowledge of the Chennai Market.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Growth & Revenue Ownership

• Own and drive the P&L for Chennai SI business
• Develop and execute regional growth strategy aligned with organizational goals
• Drive new business acquisition across enterprise and government segments
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline (large deals, multi-year contracts)

2. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Build CXO-level relationships with key enterprise customers
• Manage strategic accounts and ensure high customer satisfaction
• Engage with OEMs, partners, and ecosystem players for joint go-to-market

3. Sales Leadership

• Lead and mentor regional sales teams (enterprise sales, pre-sales, account managers)
• Drive solution-based selling across IT infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, etc.
• Ensure achievement of sales targets, margins, and order book

4. Delivery & Operations Oversight

• Oversee end-to-end project execution ensuring timelines, quality, and profitability
• Work closely with delivery and project management teams
• Ensure governance, compliance, and risk management across projects

5. Market Expansion

• Identify new industry verticals and emerging opportunities
• Strengthen presence in Chennai market
• Build strategic alliances and partnerships

6. Team Building & Leadership

• Build, scale, and retain high-performing teams
• Drive performance management, coaching, and capability development
• Foster a high-performance and customer-centric culture

Preferred candidate profile

Experience & Background

• 12-18 years of experience in System Integration / IT Services / Technology Solutions
• Proven experience in leading regional business units or large teams
• Strong exposure to enterprise and government clients in Chennai
• Demonstrated success in handling large deals (50 Cr+ or equivalent)

Skills & Competencies

• Strong business acumen and P&L management
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Deep understanding of SI offerings (Data Center, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Networking, Managed Services)
• Leadership and team management skills
• Strategic thinking with execution focus

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA / Engineering degree (preferred)
• Strong network with CIOs/CTOs in Chennai
• Experience working with OEMs like Cisco, Microsoft, Dell, HPE etc.
