Branch Development Coordinator (BDC)

Job Description

Muthoot Mercantile Ltd. is looking for dynamic and experienced professionals to join our team as Branch Development Coordinators (BDC) at our Head Office in Thiruvananthapuram.

The selected candidates will assist in driving company growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting sales and business development activities across assigned regions.

This role requires proactive individuals with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills who can work collaboratively across departments and regional teams.

Regions

We are hiring candidates to handle the following regions:

• Pune
• Madhya Pradesh (MP)
• Gujarat
• Rajasthan
• West Bengal
• Odisha
• Punjab
• Mumbai
• Delhi

Preference will be given to candidates belonging to the respective region or having good knowledge of the regional market.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Research & Opportunity Identification

• Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and potential business opportunities.
• Evaluate competitor strategies and market conditions to support business development plans.
• Identify opportunities for branch growth and business expansion in assigned regions.

2. Client Relationship Management

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients through various communication channels.
• Address client inquiries and provide information about company services and products.
• Coordinate with other departments to improve customer support and service delivery.

3. Sales & Lead Generation Support

• Assist in the development of sales strategies and promotional activities.
• Generate and qualify leads to support the sales team.
• Prepare and assist in the creation of proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
• Support regional teams in achieving business development objectives.

4. Administrative & Reporting Duties

• Maintain and update client databases and records related to business development activities.
• Prepare and distribute internal and external communications as required.
• Track and report on the progress of business development initiatives.
• Coordinate with Head Office departments and regional teams for smooth execution of business activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Business Development, Branch Development, or a related field.
• Experience in NBFC / Gold Loan / Financial Services will be preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi are mandatory.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data for decision-making.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work from the Head Office in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: 27,000 per month
