Designation: Branch Credit Manager

Office Location: Trichy

Position description: Responsible for underwriting and completing the loan processing by conducting appraisal to ascertain the eligibility and credit worthiness.

Primary Responsibilities:

Credit process management

Understanding of credit policy and process thoroughly including the products available.

Completing the loan application process from login to disbursement by collecting all the required documents as well as clarifying requirements with the customer and sales team.

Scrutinizing the documents shared by the customer to check the eligibility and for accuracy/genuineness of the documents to consider the application for loan eligibility.

Credit Appraisal of Loan applications within defined guidelines and accordingly take decision or recommend for approval to higher authorities.

Under writing cases with desired level of quality and enabling achievement of Branch Business target by proper training.

Conduct personal discussion with customers to establish Credit worthiness.

Use performance history along with financial analysis, liquidity, debt/asset management and profitability ratios to assess creditworthiness in evaluation.

Interact with Customers & understand the business and regularly monitor delinquencies.

Decision making within defined TAT.

Understanding of property/collateral related knowledge (like legal title and market value of the property).

Credit underwriting on the customer to make sure that customer fits into various lending parameters.

Identifying strengths and risks for any proposal and prepare a SWOT analysis around it.

Regularly interacting with the FI agency, Legal, Technical team, RCU team for timely reports.

Coordinating with Operations team for disbursement

Ensuring maintenance of TAT for the application for processing and delivering sanction letters

Preparing, managing and providing information/queries on application status pertaining to WIP / sanction files.

Handling audit queries and providing clarifications

Ensuring zero tolerance to non-compliances by adhering to organizational procedures as well as NHB and other regulatory authorities

Completing the loan application process from login to disbursement by collecting all the required documents as well as clarifying requirements with the customer and sales team

Developing notes for management reviews and recommendation as deemed necessary

Others

Any other tasks which will be required to be performed from time to time as per the instructions

• Years of experience: 3+ years of experience in underwriting home loan/non home loan/construction finance products/related companies.
