Branch Auditor- Home Loan/Housing Loan

Role & responsibilities :

Job Description;

• Conducting end-to-end branch audits across PAN India branches to ensure strict adherence to housing finance regulations, RBI guidelines, NHB directives, and internal policies.
• Assess the operational processes, including loan origination, disbursement, servicing, recovery, and customer management processes. Conduct substantive testing, analytical review, and compliance checks based on risk-based audit objectives.
• Preparing detailed audit reports highlighting key observations, discrepancies, and recommendations for corrective actions. Ensuring timely sharing of these reports with the concerned stakeholders, including senior management, and regional & operational heads. Facilitating follow-ups to monitor the implementation of corrective actions and ensuring closure of identified audit observations within stipulated timelines.
• Preparing and maintaining Branch Audit MIS
• Evaluate financial transactions, loan disbursement processes, and documentations to identify non-compliance and mitigate risks. This involves assessing the compliance of loan disbursements, verifying KYC documents, income proofs, sanction conditions, and post-disbursement documentation to ensure alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Continuously reviewing and improving the audit process, based on feedback, regulatory updates, and industry best practices, to ensure that it remains relevant, effective, and aligned with the organizations goals of strengthening internal controls and reducing risks.
• Require at least 2–3-year experience in branch audit function in a Housing Finance Company.
• Candidate should be ready to travel 15 days a month to various branches across PAN India.
