Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced AML/AFT Supervisor to lead a team responsible for financial crime investigations, sanctions screening, and regulatory compliance activities within Credit Card Operations. The role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to AML regulations, driving team performance, and mitigating financial crime risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AML Analysts to achieve productivity, quality, and compliance targets.
• Oversee investigations related to PEP/PEFP screening, sanctions, adverse media, and suspicious transactions.
• Review escalated cases and provide guidance on complex AML and compliance matters.
• Ensure adherence to AML/AFT regulations, PMLA guidelines, and internal policies.
• Monitor team performance through KPIs, SLAs, quality reviews, and reporting.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support audit, compliance, and risk management activities.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams to address financial crime risks and operational challenges.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• 9+ years of experience in AML/KYC, Financial Crime Compliance, Risk Operations, or Banking Operations.
• Minimum 5 years of team handling/supervisory experience in AML operations.
• Strong understanding of AML/AFT regulations, PMLA, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, decision-making, and people management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
