Bottom In-Charge Shoe

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all shoe bottom production activities.
• Ensure the proper fitting, pasting, pressing, and attachment of shoe soles to uppers, as applicable to the production process.
• Monitor daily production targets and ensure timely completion of orders.
• Maintain quality standards and minimize rejection, defects, and material wastage.
• Allocate work to operators and helpers according to production requirements.
• Check machines, tools, adhesives, and other materials for proper use.
• Coordinate with the upper, sole, finishing, and quality-control departments.
• Maintain daily production reports, attendance, rejection records, and material consumption.
• Ensure workers follow safety procedures and maintain workplace cleanliness.
• Troubleshoot production problems and report major issues to the Production Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in shoe manufacturing, especially sole or bottom-line operations.
• Knowledge of shoe-bottom pasting, pressing, sole attachment, and finishing processes.
• Ability to manage workers and achieve production targets.
• Knowledge of quality control and production reporting.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and team-management skills.

Preferred Experience: 3-6 years in footwear manufacturing, preferably in a supervisory or line in-charge role.

CFTI and FDDI pass out candidate will be preffered.
