About this role
ALTEN is hiring BOM engineer for one its OEM client in chennai.
Role: BOM Engineer
Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech Mechanical
Experience: 1-5 Years
Location: Chennai
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM), variant / feature coding and effectivity updates
- Basic understanding of Automotive systems and sub-systems.
- 3DX tool knowledge is added advantage
- Must be proficient in MS applications (word, excel, power-point, outlook email)
- Good written and verbal English communication
- Run quality audits at the vehicle level BOM, to ensure right parts and right quantities
- Candidate need to support various Report generation tasks based on templates/Macro
- To liaison with the part engineer for resolving any BOM quality issues
