About this role
- Install and commission new boilers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on boilers and related equipment to identify and address potential issues.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions or breakdowns in boiler systems, such as leaks, faulty valves, or pressure irregularities.
- Perform regular cleaning and servicing of boilers to remove scale, sediment, and other debris that may affect performance.
- Monitor and adjust boiler controls, fuel consumption, and water levels to optimize efficiency and minimize energy wastage.
- Test boiler safety devices, such as pressure switches, relief valves, and flame safeguards, to ensure proper functioning.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs performed on all boilers in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate repairs and shutdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in boiler technology to recommend improvements or upgrades to existing systems.
- Foster a culture of safety by following all relevant safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and promoting safe work practices.Role & responsibilities
